Description: Greetings! In Corozal there are two small but active groups of Alcoholics Anonymous with a collective experience of over 100 years of sobriety.
The meeting place for the English-speaking group is on a very short divided street called North Street. This street begins at Central Park, and Belize Bank is on that corner. The meeting is in the National Drug Abuse Council office, on the second floor of a building about midway on the east side of the street (there aren't many divided streets in Corozal).
The English language group, CorAlcAn, also known as Serenity by the Sea, meets once a week, at 7 pm on Thursdays.
The Spanish language group, Groupa La Roca, meets several times a week in a different location. Sometimes an Al-Anon group gets going, and periodically has to re-start.
